Francis & Co. was not created because the world needed another home care company. It was created because families are overwhelmed. Healthcare has become increasingly complex. Adult children are carrying the weight of difficult decisions while trying to balance careers, children, and their own lives. Older adults are navigating chronic health conditions, changing abilities, medications, appointments, and an ever-growing maze of healthcare providers and services. Too often, families find themselves exhausted, uncertain, and asking the same question: "Where do we go from here?" We believe there is a better way.
Francis & Co. was built on the belief that aging should not be navigated alone. Families deserve a trusted guide. They deserve compassionate professionals who will walk beside them, help them understand their options, advocate for their loved ones, and create a clear path forward.
As natives of the Toledo area, bringing Francis & Co. to our hometown is deeply personal. This community shaped who we are. It is where our roots run deep, where our families live, and where we have witnessed countless families struggle to find the support, guidance, and peace of mind they deserve.
We didn't set out to build a company focused on volume. We didn't set out to build a company focused on simply filling hours. And we certainly didn't set out to build a company focused on transactions.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Jane Francis, RN, has devoted her career to serving older adults and the families who love them.
Throughout her journey as a nurse, leader, and advocate, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges families face as they navigate aging, changing health needs, and an increasingly complex healthcare system. These experiences have shaped her belief that no family should have to walk that journey alone.
Known for her compassionate approach and ability to see the bigger picture, Jane helps families find clarity during uncertain times. She has spent her career building bridges between healthcare services, identifying gaps in care, and creating solutions that allow older adults to remain safe, independent, and thriving at home.
Her work is deeply rooted in her faith and her belief that every person is created with inherent dignity, worth, and purpose. Jane believes caring for others is not simply a profession - it is a calling. This conviction has guided her throughout her career and continues to shape the way she serves clients, families, and the community.
Jane founded Francis & Co. with a heartfelt mission: to provide families with the guidance, support, and peace of mind they deserve. Her vision is to create a more connected, personalized, and elevated aging experience - one where every individual is seen, every family feels supported, and every chapter of life is lived with dignity, purpose, and grace.
For Jane, the greatest privilege is walking alongside families during some of life's most important moments, offering not only professional expertise, but compassion, hope, and a trusted hand to guide the way.
Julia (Francis) Jennings, RN
CO-FOUNDER
Julia Jennings, RN, has dedicated her career to caring for others with compassion, excellence, and a genuine heart for service.
Her foundation in oncology nursing gave her the provilege of walking alongside individuals and families during some of life's most vulnerable moments. Through those experiences, she learned that exceptional care extends far beyond clinical expertise - it is built on trust, presence, empathy, and truly understanding what matters most to each person and family.
In addition to her clinical experience, Julia served as an RN educator for area colleges, helping develop and mentor future nurses. She is passionate about empowering others, sharing knowledge, and creating environments where both caregivers and clients can thrive.
Most recently, Julia has worked closely with older adults and their families as a Nurse Liaison in senior care, helping them navigate the often overwhelming journey of aging. She understands the uncertainty families can feel when faced with difficult decisions and changing health needs, and she is committed to being a trusted guide every step of the way. Her ability to blend clinical insight with genuine compassion allows her to create personalized solutions that bring comfort, confidence, and peace of mind.
At Francis & Co., Julia's vision is simple: every person deserves to feel valued, cared for, and supported. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every client experience reflects the kindness, dignity, and respect she would want for her own family.
